View Full Version : [Update] XenoBot v2.3.1

This update fixes many bugs and concerns which arose with the previous update (http://forums.xenobot.net/showthread.php?2114).

Changelog:

v2.3.1
Fixed the random crashes/debug upon injection.
Added "Use Mapclick" option to "Pathfinding." You may now, at the cost of not walking on furniture or fire, use mapclicking if preferred.
Fixed some bugs with the Pathfinder's MiniMap reading module
I now base deductions on both minimap color and minimap tilespeed, not just minimap color.
Modified the Pathfinder to, instead of breaking search iteration once 1000 nodes have been opened, not open any search nodes farther than 50 SQM away.
This means that there can be a total of 7854 search nodes opened [pi * (50^2)] before pathfinding will retire its search - small patch: I limited it to 1500 nodes.
This should fix the bug which causes the walker to fail when walking towards certain waypoints.
This also means that waypoints should be no greater than 50 SQM apart (preferably alot closer).
Modified the Looter to only attempt to open bodies which are on screen.
This should fix bugs where it goes into "flux" between the Walker and Looter when a body is 1 SQM off screen.
Modified the Walker to only recalculate its path if needed instead of mandatorily every 5 steps.
This should fix any bugs where the walker gets stuck walking back and fourth in a line or small area.
Modified the "Show Diagnostic Information" to expand off screen and display ping and movement speed.

Not really, he said this update would contain bugfixes for 2.3 - and after that he would focus on the special areas ^^

nice update, though my mate still encounters this bug with loading and saving settings, http://forums.xenobot.net/showthread.php?1764-Windows-7-x64-Cannot-Save-or-Load-Settings , it would be great if you at least answered what could be wrong or if youre working on it

Getting stuck sometimes with arrows key or mapclick. And it wasnt before. Did you change smth with arrow key?

Would be nice Darkstar if you could make next uppdate to the bot makes like 3 ways of healing like "exura,exura gran,exura vita" and also 3-4 ways to hit monsters like exori frigo,exori gran frigo,exori max frigo.

Can you add it own sound file for the walker stuck alarm for the next update?
I wanna change it like the others in Xenobot/Sounds folder

Just add a wav file named "walker stuck.wav" worked for me.

Just updated a small patch fix. Re-download this version to install it.

I fixed the missing Walker Stuck.wav file (I had it in my project but forgot to place it in the installer). I also added a limit to the amount of nodes the pathfinder will open in order to keep it from debugging or freezing.

Great job DarkstaR, keep doing this bot better :).
Anyway, you should add some kind of "Learn" option in the Walker so as to make the waypoints a lot easier.

since i have downloaded this version im just getting all the time debugs, Im comming back to the version 2.3.0 this one sucks big time.

I fixed what I beleive to have been causing the debugs, you only need to re-install it. However, I can't be sure, since you all expect me to fix "I'm getting debugs" without showing a damn report.

k so for example now, my bot is getting stuck, what ever either do i make the wpts next to each other or like 5 sqms after my 'walker' just refuses to work, at one mc - where im botting soils everything works fine - others doesnt - here's an example ss ive made to show u 936

DarkstaR, you should focusing on, not attack other players monster, and the other loot option now. It's too obviously that you are botting.

That screenshot tells me nothing. Tell me where it is trying to walk to and enable diagnostic information and maybe I'll be able to see the problem.

Also tell me your pathfinding settings.

it just doesnt walk it does not move...about pathfinding, what ever I mark it still doesnt make it walk, and Ive just made a few random wpts to the north and back : p

If you don't do a damn thing I ask how do you expect me to fix it? Also, those are NODES. If they are random to the north and back it WONT WALK THEM because when a node is within 3SQM it sees it as "complete."

I've made same thing with stands and still it's not working it doesnt "Jump" to the other waypoint :p and I'm doing as much as I can what more do u expect me to do :p I can make this ss what U wanted but it doesn't work at all it doesnt change the waypoint from for example wpt1 to wpt2 :p

Dave, if scrip for soils works good then its something wrong with your settings. If bot is bugged then why other scripts work fine? Does other my scripts except soils work for you?

Just tried the Orcs script by Infernal bolt and my bot crashes as soon as i enable the walker.

I don't get any error, the window just freezes and i can do nothing

its not about ur script, its about every script made by me, they worked fine before now they dont anyore

Since this update I didnt had any crash so I think its eventually fixed. Before I had it pretty often, thanks.

For like the third time: if XenoBot is freezing or crashing with certain waypoints, uninstall it and then re-download and re-install the bot. Also, learning to read may help in the future.

If this doesn't fix the issue I will require some more detail, but as far as I've been told this fixes it.

Poorly made scripts may also be causing some mess ups. I've never had a freeze or crash when using my own scripts.

the bot is awesome, but the looter leaves items at bodies and skip some loots as well :(

I noticed bot sometimes left items at bodies but it was coused because of wrong made lua script. If you have any 'while' loops check if there is 'wait', if its not then your pc is overworked. Just a tip.

using loop of course, to drop vials, but before using the script it was happening, and about my computer overworked, I dont think so, since is a i7 2600 3,4ghz with 1 tibia running, it's not even using 5% of cpu..

Most of the settings I've done and used perfectly before the last update are getting the walker stucked now. It's on random places, I'll try to post some screen shoots soon to help DarkstaR.
